A good church is not necessarily the biggest church, the newest church, or the church with the best music. Look for a church where people genuinely care about one another, where Jesus Christ is at the center, and where what is being taught agrees with what God has said. You should be able to ask questions without being made to feel foolish. You should see kindness, honesty, humility, and people trying to live what they say they believe. No church will be perfect because churches are made up of imperfect people, but a healthy church should help you grow closer to God, not make you afraid of Him.
